There was a event at work today. One that put Me in the darkest of moods. A co worker, a loss prevention associate. Believing they were to be terminated shortly, which wasnt the case....decided to walk out instead, and tell no one.

Let Me go through this slowly, and clearly so I can make everyone understand. This person is 20 years old, single, and in college. I will assume they have held many jobs, and this is just one along the line. This person said goodbyes to a select few, and then left. No one.....not one tried to talk some sense into them. Give two weeks notice, stay and clear things up, or think about burning a possible reference for future employment. Of all the friends this person had, none chose to explain the results of the irrational choice being made out of pure anger, and confusion. The truth was no termination was planned, or anything of the sort. It was all bullshit, and rumors. Look what it did, it cost a good employee their job, and possibly future jobs due to leaving and quitting when things seemed to get rough. No one will hire a quitter. I dont care if you have a college degree. I would have sat them down, and had a talk, because I hate seeing people ruin their lives by making rushed choices and regretting it later. How often do we all say something we dont mean when mad, or upset? This is no diffrent. How can people consider themselves friends, if they let you do something stupid and immature? I was pissed all day long because of this. Me, the only logical thinking adult in the whole store saw how this was, and no one else. To let someone follow through with stupidity is to only reinforce bad choices. They could have helped this person, instead they chose to let them act alone. Dammit people....
