You are normal. Who hasn't wondered if there is a hereafter? Wanting someone to hold your hand as you slip away is a comfort most want. More importantly though is the lifetime of memories that you would have in your head of the person holding your hand. To not have anyone is bad enough but to lose them once you actually found them (due to Alzheimers etc) is far worse. Your moods make me want to cry because they bring things up that I would rather look away from for the time being. Having to worry about my 4 year old is bad enough, and scary when I think of her as a teenager...but to think that I may miss it all... I'm going to go hug her tightly now.

Yet again, Ghost, I am more similar to you than I thought I could be. Your beliefs are almost exactly the same. I do not believe in Heaven and Hell, no gods, no angels, nothing to look towards while facing death. To die alone, would be a nightmare, I hope you find someone. Best wishes to you, my abnormal friend Ghost, remember. Normally is the only impossiblilty. -Kass
