True dat, true dat. They DID volunteer, didn't they? My sister did, so did her husband. Of course, they bitch and whine about it now, but they DID go Army of their own free will. *smirks* My sis is gonna be pissed when she reads this, though. Ho-hum. Keep it comin', bro.

"Allah"? Let me tell you a big reason why arabs hate America. America supported Saddam. America set up Al-qaeda. America is not just starting to step out of the dog shit they left flaming on their doorstep. The Jews packed up and got the fuck out of Palestine 200 years ago and the arabs took over and American Jewish business owners were all for creating a Jewish homeland. Can't fuck the economy right? So you can say that "America is liberation" but you'd better look at how come you guys HAVE to liberate these countries. You fucked them up. Now ya gotta fix them.

Hmm, quite interesting to toss in the pregnant boobs comment Gog. Normally, the two don't mix unless you are talking about rapes and such... right. You have a strong belief in this as so does Eric. You will not change each others views. You will not change my view or most likely anyone elses, but for those younger that haven't made up their minds and are easy influenced or have a background (family) and such, you might start them into it. In both of your entries I've seen you both attack the other side. I just rised an eyebrow and and raised on. There are ways to approach such matters but when passion comes into it most logic runs out of the window, especially when you feel attacked. It's a natural reaction. I agree with some of the both of you and I disagree with some of it too. Then again I was raised in a hippy state. I feel that violence only teaches violence. History shown us this and we are caught in the terrible cycle of it. There is no stopping it because of fear and pride. You know my views on it and I'll say no more on it because it's something that keeps getting brought up and never looked at with pure eyes. Sort of reminds me of my debate club class. I won on the debates that I didn't believe in. It's easier to win when you don't have too many emotions wrapped up into it. We don't get blinded by it. anyway. take care. xxx

GoG, little note to you. Dear, he's only in high school. He'll find his way in life, it seems to me there is a lot of anger and hurt in his life. Just let him be.

I agree with Charming Girl completely on this one. You both have good points. They did volunteer, and it's their choice. But it's also a person's choice NOT to join the military. The fact that you look down on the people that go to Canada to get away from the draft is a little insulting. I get that you were in the army, and I can understand how you can look down upon someone that doesn't join like you did. But it is their choice. And if that choice is taken away from them, where is you're "freedom?"
