Politics. One of two topics never to talk about at a dinner party. I see your point of view, I don't agree but I see where you are coming from. It's interesting but I could never believe most of what you commented on. Now I could do two things, close your page and not comment and let you go on your rant and you never knowing I read it or comment on it and make you really hate me. I'm sure you will not really hate me in a way I'm sure you will admire me saying something even if you don't agree. If not just close the box and don't think of it again, out of sight out of mind. I've never been in the army and never plan to be in it. I don't feel it's always the right answer. To me war is just one man tell another man my cock is larger than yours. To the people fighting it are the poor people that are in the middle and usually die from the two idiot men having a silly stupid ego battle. Bush's war was way more that what the average person is told. Most wars are. It's just a shame lives have to be taken over greed and cock tossing. Sorry for saying that because I know you have served and you have a passion for it, more power to you. You have a discipline I could never have. I'm sure you are commenting on a few things your read in my diary. If so good. I made you think, not positive but still the thought was there. I would love to move to Canada, Scotland or England. Since Canada is the closest my bet is I'd move there before the others. I like a lot of what is there, especially in the Canadian cities across the water from me. I'd gladly move but reality steps in and I can't move to another country until my son is at least in middle school. His father would fight it in the courts and most likely I'd have to stick around with even less money. It's not quitting, it's going after dreams and making them possible. Each person has and ideal of what they want and how it should be, to me those three places are them. The issue about voting is that honestly we don't have a say at this point. If we vote for someone to step into the white house, it doesn't matter, we could've voted for a mouse and we'd still have the same results as before, it's the lower people down the pyramid that matters, who we vote in there makes a difference in who they elect in office, so when voting the major people to be voting for and if you want change is to vote for people in your county and state, from there it will SLOWLY make a difference. So it's not the lesser of two evils, dear your vote wouldn't have mattered anyway. You'd be surprised, Osama and terrorism WAS apart of Gov Bush's campaign speech. Look through it and you'll see it. I will have no comment on Clinton because I don't feel like going there. That's another topic for another time and believe me I don't want to offend you in any way. I wish you all the best sweetie, have a nice day off and email me if you'd like, tah tah kisses and cuddles.

I think you are def. right in not voting for the lesser of 2 evils. And thank you for your educated opinion it was refreshing. Its always better to see what can happen that might be beneficial then to complain about what is going wrong. Rock on America!

yeah, i agree with what you said. although people shouldn't not vote because "their vote won't make a difference" (directed at "charming girl"); if so many people stayed out of an election for that same reason, they would probably be able to make a huge difference. (although i do respect your (ghostofgor) reason for not voting because it would be immoral; what i mean is that people should not choose a side and then not vote.) personally, i am not happy with our present situation. however, in four more years, it will have to change. and even if somehow it does change for the worse, there is always hope for it to get better, and for people to stand up and change it. another thing i thought i'd say is that one of the worst things i have heard lately is people saying, "i like war." i mean, i do respect the soldiers, and even have a great admiration for them for what they do, but...for people to say that...is saying that they want people to die for purpose of their entertainment. (at least, that's what i interpreted from the way they said it). i'm sure if they ever get shot, their attitude will change quite a bit... just thought i'd get that out...
