I'm glad your alright. That reminds me of the time an elderly lady decided she was on the wrong on ramp to the highway and backed up. She caused two cars to stop behind her and then I, being the lucky one, rear ended the truck that was two cars behind her. She never got hit, nor the car in back of her, and she drove off, never to be seen again. Of course, I got the shit end of the stick when my insurance company faulted me for the accident she caused. Some people have all the luck.

i did that once. it only happened over summer. i was just down a few blocks from home. i was coming home from a friends house. i've only driven a year in america. it is quite different. anyway, my light was green, and i made sure that no one was still crossing the intersection and i proceeded in my direction. and boom, i got hit and had to be taken to the hospital for a deep cut from my windsheild that had shattered. other than that, my friends who were in the car were completely fine. i didn't press any charges against the guys who hit me. they were both on speed. later when they were sober they thanked me so much and invited me out for a drink. i told them i was still concidered a minor in america. and they still took me out to an english bar in san francsico. anyway, i didn't sue the guys. i didn't want to. i felt they deserved a free ride. however, we still called the cops like you're supposed to. their insurance went up. but there was no point in fixing my car because it was pretty totaled. they were going 56mph in a 30mph zone. i wasn't even going 10mph. it was interesting...
